@Weaponsuser I'm talking about the "We the People" act, which removes a check to state power by prohibiting the supreme court from overturning unconstitutional state laws when it comes to sexual privacy, civil rights, and the seperation of church and state.

@N33DL3R if your referring to the defense of marriage act. it does (not) violate the Constitution. if you read the full faith and credit clause , the second part, you will see if give the federal government the power to let states, not recognize other states laws.

Ron Paul doesn't give a shit about our liberties, only about states' rights. He even sponsored a bill, the We the people act, which allows states to pass laws that violate the constitution.

Perhaps Dr. Paul recognizes abortion for what it really is - the legalized elimination of undesirables. We've been here before. The group that benefits is all for it. But who speaks for the group that is the target? The unborn can't defend themselves. What a brave act it is to murder them.
Nobody forces women to have abortions. They choose murder for their own selfish reasons. In the case of rape, two wrongs don't make a right. The child of a rape victim is not a non-person.

This blithering idiot just said, having a libertarian pro-choice federal law is big government. But the state of Texas, which is full of teabaggers like him, banning abortions, initiating violence against women and forcing them to botched abortions, is small government. Is there any fucking reason why women and minorities, even of the libertarian persuasion, should support this teabagger?
-
This big government teabagger needs to die soon from a major illness and without medical care. He is one of those filth who would have argued that eliminating slavery should have been left to the states prior to the 1860s. He is one of megalomaniacs who would have argued that equal citizenship and rights for African Americans should have been left to the states to decide.
I love how he understands how corruption works. He is pro-life, pro-marriage, but he knows that e cannot trust Big Government to do it right. It is better that those dealing directly with moral issues -- the churches, the local police -- handle it. If some get it wrong, it is better that it's wrong on a relatively small level, than get it wrong on a national, or even international, level.
