  • 1+m in a petrol engine? Hmmm my GU Patrol (petrol) is rated at 700mm. I think mu son has borrowed it with a bow wave over the bonnet.

  • @63yogi

Can only speak from experience, good vehicle preparation and smart driving. these vehicles are not standard.

If you are happy driving a $30-50,000 vehicle through deep water you can test their rating for a standard vehicle, however.... there are techniques to minimize water ingress to the engine bay and the RB30s are particularly well sealed from water into the electrics.

  • You guys are pussies. The only way to do Cape York is on a mountain bike.

  • @Focoist911

Yeah we used a couple of those bikes for traction under our tyres to get up one of the slippery creek banks, trouble is they are so light the frames twist and get caught under the mudguards. Oh well!

  • my dads mate had a land rover defender and didnt have a snorkel and we went on a track called the monkey gum and he was driving like a dickhead and flooded the motor :/ now he has a brand new one. and can you tell what cape york country is like coz i might be going up there. i went to the hight country at christmas and it was awesome

  • @mrkbjm aaaahhhhhhhhhh ................... what Disco. It's a Defender Extreme - very different vehicle to a Disco. Running with a little bit of water over the bonnet like that is nothing for a Defender. Good photos & vids in this post, and the backing music's not bad either.

  • @Focoist911 If i diddnt have a licence idd say that too

  • 4x4 all the way mate you only ride a mountain bike cause you obviously cannot afford a good 4x4 hahaha

  • @flashnick & wot about the fuckwitts on them they get stuck up under your crossmembers...

  • nice job of the landy's side step

  • Thanks Flash

I'll be have to look into it.
