However I have decided to leave it on because it shows how poor the standard of arguments for continued population growth generally is. This is all about caring for the welfare of humans, those on the planet now and those on the planet in the future - they need to have a good environment to support them, but they won't if there are too many of them. Dear we007, I find it absolutely amazing that you could in the face of all the evidence to the contrary come up with the crazy notion that Dick Smith is a racist. Perhaps you should have a look at his DVD, Dick Smith's Population Puzzle. Every time he raised a subject, he went and actually talked to ordinary people about it. On the subject of Bangladesh, he went a spoke to a Bangladesh family in a slum where water was running out through overpopulation. I think it is you who are ignorant.

It's ok for him to have a collection of properties, helicopters, jets, etc....

But!....for most people that have given him so much, NO!...they are not allowed to have that helicopter, jet plane, or even 2 homes.
