Every minute on the minute, Elise did five 20-kg deadlifts and three thrusters with 15-lb dumbbells. She had done her first four minutes using the two 8-kg kettlebells that are on the floor. These turned out to be too light for deadlifting and too heavy for a lot of thrusters. Elise is a skier, a teacher, and a firebreathing CrossFitter since 2004.
