Xeno Gear Solid

This is my big voice-acting debut! Actually, my voice doesn't sound anything like this, it was quite a strain trying to talk like Snake via Fat Mann.

Anyway, despite the various poor attempts at humor, this is actually a vital part of the perfect game. See, you need to gain EXP in a strictly controlled fashion in order to get everyone's Hit and Evade stats as high as possible, and the guards here are not good for that. You can escape from them, but when you do, they just run back into you before you can move, and the cycle repeats until one of you dies. So, you need to avoid all encounters except the two that are necessary, which is tricky when you need to get all the items as well.

If the guards are there when you arrive then you can still reach the Iron Mail room, you just gotta be quick. Then, you need to duck into the room in the middle before getting the Cobra Cracka. After that, leap straight into the garden or else you WILL get into several fights. When you land, don't move until that guard turns away, then charge for the double doors.

The Rosesol S is easy enough to get, but when you leave you should do it like I do even though it's slow, because if you don't then the guard patrolling on the other side will be in an inopportune position. Sometimes you can't open the door in time because the exclamation marks inhibit your door-opening abilities. This way will get you in safely everytime as long as you don't run into the statuesque guard.

The Aquasol S is very tricky. Postion yourself in the corner of the Iron Curtain and the wall, then make a Big Jump over the bed then downward. This will take some practice, but again if you do it right it will work 90% of the time.

The first set of guards I fight can easily be lured into running helplessly against the stairs, but the door is programmed not to open until they are dead. So, take them out however you want, I prefer the jump-on-their heads approach. I haven't found any way to get past the last set of guards, and I bet the door would be locked anyway.

Well, remember, this is my first attempt at something like this so go easy on me ^_^

It's funny how you pronounce "Margie"... I personally pronounce it a bit like... well, like Maggie (and no, it's not because of the Simpsons... not entirely at least... *if you think about it, it's still kind of hilarious... we have Bart and Bart, Margie and Maggie and Elly Van Houten/Milhouse Van Houten... I don't remember if the boy bickers with Bart but Elly tends to at least*).
