There is also a single seat version of the Su-29 and also some Su-29s also have M-14PF engines which put out 400 hp. Awesome video by the way. The Su-29 is one of my favorite aircraft of all time.

That's right, I was very surprised when I first watched the video on youtube of the single seat version of the Su-29, but it does exist indeed ! To my mind, the 29 is by far the most beautiful 2 seat aerobatic aircraft. (I really like the Yak-52 TW as well).

does the su29 also come with that 420hp engine same as the su26m3?

Well, they are powered by the 360hp version of the M-14P but some of them got upgraded to around 400hp.
