You are supposed to be able to remove the tip to uncover the threaded part. But it seems to be glued on. It will probably require heat. If you mean the whole orange part, no that is not removable.

I think it should be fine
You might wanna install a tightbore barrel and maybe a better hopup for better accuracy though
