Marian Cozma RIP †

2009 február 8.-án egy veszprémi szórakozóhelyen az MKB Veszprém csapata ünnepelte Iváncsik Gergő fiának születését. A békésen mulatozó csapatra egy 30 tagú cigánybanda támadt.
A 26 éves sportolót szíven szúrták, és a kórházba szállítását követően vesztette életét.A dulakodásban még megsérült Zarko Sesum és Pesic is.

MARIAN COZMA (19822009)
A hatalmas termetű, 211 centiméter magas beállóst már „családi öröksége" is a kézilabda irányába terelte: szülei is kitűnő, válogatott játékosok voltak. Az 1982. szeptember 8-án született Cozma a Dinamo Bucuresti-ben kezdte karrierjét, és nevelőklubjából lett válogatott is. 2002-ben, Fehéroroszország ellen debütált Románia nemzeti csapatában.

Román bajnok és kupagyőztes lett a Dinamóval, majd 2006-ban a Veszprém elleni mérkőzésen kilenc gólt dobott ez annyira jó ajánlólevél volt, hogy az MKB szerződtette. A veszprémiekkel magyar bajnokságot, kupát és KEK-et is nyert.

A játékos a Prosport román napilap információi szerint a héten közölte, hogy nem kíván hazája nemzeti együttesében szerepelni, mellőzése és személyes problémái miatt.
