Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Update (12-06-08) @ Islands of Adventure, FL

UPDATE 11/24/2009 - I just got back from Universal Studios Islands of Adventure with updated video and pics of Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Be sure to check out the video by clicking the video response or the link in the video annotations (if you have them turned on!).

On my recent trip to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure - Florida, I took some time to take some pictures of what I could see of the upcoming Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This is for those that already have a good background of information and is just an update of what it looks like when I was there.

Keep in mind that the roller coasters you see in some of the shots are existing roller coasters. Dueling Dragons is the red and blue steel roller coaster and the brown roller coaster was the Unicorn roller coaster that was closed down a couple of months ago and is within the construction area now of where the HP world is being built. It will integrated within the new area.

UPDATE: The vid was tagged for copyright enfringment for using the song from Harry Potter. Understandable. It was either no more vid or do an audio swap and have the video still show. I chose to swap out the audio. Forgive the selection. The choices were not so great and I just want the vid up anyway.

i just came back from it and it isnt open yet and i think it is going to take about 4 to 7 month to finished it .. they havent finished the roller coaster and neither the building :(

As cool as it all looks, I really hope that they can manage to make it all fit together. Not like it would really bother me all that much, but I mean, I would not want it to look like a theme park, I would want it to look like Hogwarts. Lol, not hogwarts with generic picnic tables.

God, I am so rotten for posting my worries about something so awesome. I just want it to be spectacular xD
