This timeless city stole my heart the moment my feet touched its ground. Ever since my heart belongs to this most romantic town - its energy, pace, colors sounds so life affirming, so inspiring... There's magic about New York, hope and power.
My name is Vasili aka Brian 2K. I wrote this song when I had to leave NYC and ever since I have a Dream.
I am a 28 year old Russian, a language teacher and interpreter. I make music and this song is my Love confession to New York and my dream is to perform it there. I want to become a New Yorker for I am one at heart and I have always been - there's this unique chemistry between NYC and me. Daring as it is I dream to perform this song on Letterman one day.
I wanted this song to have this timeless vibe about it in the tradition of my favorite musicians Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Liza Minnelli - a Song, not a track..with feeling, with a story..
I love New York. If my song moves you and touches your heart, I will be the happiest and most thankful guy.
I have a visitor's visa for the whole 2010 so technically I can come to the USA.
