  • @tonyfreejazz20 you're right. ;-)

  • @sirakus I've gotta agree with you on every one of those guys. Don't forget Stockhausen and Messiaen.

  • folie collective

  • @paulmasters1957 but there are some people that are not happy with conventions, or what seems to be OK, and they go beyond that, and create new sounds, with new needs. Let's just call them different needs, and last century gave us a lot of great musicians and theoretical guys that provided music with different points of view and they actually enriched culture, such as john cage, ayler, zappa, cecil taylor, varese, xenakis, ligeti, and brotzmann, man. Read something about them.

  • @paulmasters1957 It's not bad bad, but it's kind of boring. You don't need a genius to write a boring song, repetitive and empty, which will die when time goes by.

Part of the magic of this kind of music is that it breaks with everything you know and understand because you never ever needed to understand what your listening before, I'm glad that this "shit" is not good for everyone, If Pink floyd can satisfy tour musical needs, it's fine, it doesn't mean anything,

  • @sirakus You don't like Pink Floyd, okay, how about some Gentle Giant? At least their songs had melodies.

  • @paulmasters1957 HAHAHAHA pink floyd!

  • God those gigs were wonderful. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou.

  • this tune brings me back, that time i stepped into a whirlwind and ended up under a microscope, happy days
