As an American who speaks three languages fluently yet has never lived outside of the United States I have quite a bit of contempt for those who cannot speak at least a second language. It has nothing to do with fair or with the so called "spanish situation." Get over it and learn a second language. It's the first sign of being cultured and intelligent.
