New resources for NSW Police

For an effective police force you need to start with the training.

Why is it that the NSW police force is the ONLY state in Australia where recruits have to pay for their training, while other states give recruits a minimum allowance to study the fully time courses.

The course is too expensive for something that should be being provided by the State Government! As a former student I can assure you that the expenses involved are a massive contributor to many not being able to complete the course

It seems the case that, if you say nice, sycophantic things about KK .. then her minders will let your YT comment stay up on the posting. And vice versa. And in several months, the fantastic Labor government will again announce their brilliant plan to boost Policing numbers by chugging out one thousand probationary police from Goulburn in one go. What we really need is the experienced and seasoned officers given a reason to stay in their jobs. They're dropping like flys thanks to the state Government. How about you guys start listening to what current serving officers have to say instead of disregarding it?

Lowering crime has nothing to do with police. It comes from investing in social services to prevent people from falling through the cracks, rather than standing at the end of the "conveyer belt of life" and then throwing police at the rejects.
