Ryerson University's Radio & Television Arts: Studio Production

Here is the finished product of "Fan(s in the) Club" created on October 22, 2010!

This was a 4 minute show created in my BDC 303 Studio Production class as part of the Radio & Television Arts program at Ryerson University.

We turned an empty studio with just black curtains into an awesome club.

Synopsis:
Best friends Martha and Francine are two teenaged girls who just want to have fun and are perhaps a little inexperienced when it comes to chatting with boys. While at a club watching the band Rock-o-Matic play, the girls spot Jason Jazz, the lead singer of another band called Disco Patrol. The girls are obviously fans of Jason Jazz and proceed to bombard him with questions as well as objects from their purses -- anything to keep Jason around. Martha heads off to buy Jason a drink, while Francine gets him to sign his CD -- something she happens to be carrying in her purse.

Eventually, Jason gets a chance to leave when he tells the girls he's actually there to see Rock-o-Matic because his wife is in the band. The girls say goodbye and are crushed; this is news to them. They scornfully turn towards his wife onstage and begin devising a plan to... eliminate her.
