haha i hate to tell you this but if you dont like finding the answers in the book, which is basically in my opinion so easy its halarious, then you are going to HATE colledge. I hate to tell you this but most colledges assign so much homework it isnt even funny.

There is no evidence supporting the idea that homework is helpful to students in any major way. As I tell my students, do not just believe me. Look it up for yourselves.

The universe we live in is fascinating. Science is the study of the universe we live in. If I tried to force my students to do a bunch of boring assignments, my students would not be inspired. If my students leave my class hating it, I have failed. I have read a variety of books about homework. (The Homework Myth by Alfie Kohn, Rethinking Homework by Cathy Vatterott, and The Case Against Homework by Nancy Kalish)

I teach science. I do not give homework. My students do quite well without homework. I teach them how to ask questions and think for themselves. I tell my students not to just believe what I say but to look it up for themselves. I have students that look into ideas and topics from class on their own time without me telling them to do so.
