@Storkner a voxel is a volumetric pixel with a fixed volume. cubes are not voxels unless they appear at fixed intervals in space (that space must match the dimensions of the voxels) so anything that rotates or passes between these fixed intervals is just a cube.
-
@Storkner 1 voxel is an axis aligned cube. but arbitrary cubes have nothing to do with voxels.

Zero people were run over by - wait, zero. There goes my whatchamacallit :P.

@Storkner one voxel can be represented as a cube, but a voxel is not a cube, it's a point in 3D space
-
@Storkner Nope, a Voxel is a volumetric pixel. Cubes six polygons stuck together. Voxels have to be axis-aligned, cubes do not. Voxels look like cubes for the same reason that pixels are (usually) square: because they make the most sense that way.
-
@Storkner no, voxels can't rotate like this, they all must be at the same degree at the same moment. You can rotate all of them at once, or make each an object in it's own voxel space, then rotating the voxel space, but that would be extremely performance hungry.
-
@Storkner voxels tend to be cubes, but cubes are not voxels. A voxel (volume pixel) is the 3D equivalent of a pixel (picture element). Likewise, pixels tend to be squares, but not all squares are pixels.

definitely not voxels, voxels don't rotate
Good work, but those are not voxels, those are just cubes. cube != voxel

@jrkirby93 I thought one Voxel is still a cube?

How many packets of jello did you use?

@usbfridge I don't know it exactly but i think it was about 5000
