Haha, I know. I couldn't help myself. This song was so perfect in my eyes for how I feel about Dana. She's a snotty, selfish little princess through most of the series and I honestly felt Terry could have done better. Besides, Bruce Timm & co basically admitted she was a "place holder" girlfriend since Terry just needed to have her for the tension.

Here's something for you to think about.....and I mean, seriously think, hard. If Melanie had really left her family, given up her criminal ways, and went with Terry, would it have worked up? Would she have told Terry about her past? Would Terry have told her about Bruce? Would Terry really have been able to give up Batman for Melanie? And Dana. With the way things would have ended so abruptly, with no real closure, would he stayed away? (the guy obviously has commitment issues)

If you want my honest opinion, I never thought Melanie was Terry's end-all, be-all true love. I think they had young love, which is beautiful and should be preserved, but nothing long term. I personally would have loved to see him with Max. Max was already his best friend and understood him far better than either Melanie or Dana. They had tons of sexual tension later on. As a matter of fact, producer Alan Burnett wanted them together but Bruce Timm turned the idea down.

in my opinion Melanie was a interesting character in batman beyond i can't believe there only 3 episodes about her, in the episode dead man hand in the end bruce was was going to talk about selena kyle aka catwoman to terry

I wonder if the audience will get a new batman series with a ''batman'' and ''anti-hero" pairing one day. This batman and good girl "Dana" pairing bores me. Someone should e-mail the producers and let them know how we feel.
