@elecguitar The only reason is because John Williams composed it because he already had five oscars with an additional 44 nominations. The academy probably just wanted to "spread the gold" but I really feel that he should have won one for this too.

I don't believe that the 2 nations solution is an applicable one, i believe in a solution of a single country where the palestinians and the jews dissolve in to a single community with one nation, palesrael!!!! May be, but the palestinians should not pay the price of the European guilt for the holocause, it is not their mistake, Europeans created israel to get rid of the jews from their nations and to make sure their enemies represented in Arabs and Jews will keep fighting, the winner is EUROPE

It's an amazing movie indeed, i am pro-palestenian and i think it was a little bit biased to the Israelis but it is way more moderate than the radical pro-zionist hollywood, at least it proposed our prespective!

How on earth could the music for "Brokeback Mountain" win the oscar for "best score" over this? i mean i liked brokeback but the music was the worst part of it, the music for "Munich" is WAYY better, and i like the movie better too
