  • best way. Spray it on, let it sit for 15 minutes (or longer) spray again and let sit for 15 minutes (or longer) maybe even a few more times. Then spray on in the places you're working on first and it comes off much easier

  • water based degreasers sold in places such as Home depot or common grocers can make absorption much quicker. You must score the surface with heavy sand paper if the surface will not absorb moisture. If it's vinyl peel it first.

  • DIF is for the consumer Pros dont use it much. Degreasers used with gloves make the WP come off quicker cause of the faster and more complete absorption.

  • sorry it took so long Steam is very effective in removing WP but remember heat and water get make the paint and wall texture soft and come loose. Only steam if you can do it without damaging the wall surface. Water based paints can peel when heated.
