@dazzleladyify Halle doesn't deny or not claim her white side. She loves her mother very much and has stated many times that her mother is white and there are pics of the two of them together. However she has chosen to identify more so with her black side because she looks it (she's as dark or darker as some w/2 black parents), she's more comfortable and because she was taught that it would be easier on her and that the world/society sees her as black and treats her as such.

@meandck I never said she should ignore her black heritage, I just think she uses it when she feels like it. My partner is half African but doesn't class himself as black nor does his family or friends. My children are as much black as halle berrys daughter but i dont class them as black like she does her child. They are mixed race and that's it. It's not so important in England to establish a side of ethnicity, 1 in 10 children are born mixed race here so it's not a problem. America is so bac
