  • This song speaks too me. I have watched the needle take several friends and am a recovering drug abuser. The power of Neil has always spoken to me.

  • @jezabelnhell Just found out tonight that he's back in jail for heroin and firearms. No matter how long I've dealt with his addictions, it never hurts any less and makes me cry less when I find this out. I want to be home with him. And if it takes me selling things I own to get there, I will.

  • mrseth17 u speak true, same here bro, neil young is the best

  • Fantastic song will live forever

  • for my friends,,, including me.

  • @MIKECNW wow it just gets richer and richer. trashy for admitting your mistakes? i suppose that puts denial right up there at the top of the list of good crap to do. maybe we can teach the kids to deny it if they are sexually abused as well? that would probably raise the property value. people have choices which can lead to mistakes. these mistakes have consequences, and kids should be aware of what consequences can come. if they aren't, they have no reason not to choose that mistake.

  • @jezabelnhell What I'm saying that he's a piece of trash for admitting it to the world and even more so for even beginning a drug habit it the first place and the fact that you're defending him make you pathetic in your own right.

  • @Jabberwafflez give em a shot at Jane Says-Jane's Addiction, Under the Bridge-Red Hot Chili Peppers, Far Behind- Candlebox (all excellent songs related to heroin or overdose) and kick him down a history lesson on where all of our best musicians are residing these days...6 feet under.

  • @NicKisDeadly while i am sure that is sarcasm, the song is relative to everyone in my opinion. every person has some sort of demon, be it heroin, over working, sex addiction, eating disorders, cutting, the list goes on. neil said it himself 'i've seen the needle and the damage done, a little part of it in everyone"

  • @MIKECNW yeah cuz lying to your kids about your past really helps them learn how drugs might be a really bad idea. ignorance is always so helpful in educating the next generation! asshat.
