  • i no it sounda strang but are machines on of the cookworks one s its good but it takes ages to heat up my grinders the hinary geni its good but u need to use a spoon to get the grindings out (i much perfer the ones with the handle that letts the grindings into the portafilter much better lol)

  • As i said, the sooner you start the faster you'll learn to use the equipment, just ask in your local coffeebar if they can let you make a coffee, just say it's for fun, i would let you do it, so maybe they will too

  • hi thanks for the tip they will come in hady i am 13 but i am trying to train my self to be a barista for a cool job at a cafe ner me iv always loved coffee its the best i have a grinder and a machine but it takes some time to do it all i supose i could get the hang of it :) hope to hear from u

  • cool man, starting early gives you a head start ;)

What machine and grinder do you have? ( or your parents ;) )

  • wow cool machine i am jm do you have any barista tips for me as i want to be a barista when im older and work at a caffe near me hope to hear from you from jm:)

  • :) thanks, how old are you now? Well the best tips i can give you is to buy a nice starter machine and than buy a top quality grinder to start. the machine is important but understanding the grinder is even more important.Than it's all about trying it over and over again :)

  • I see that is an Izzo. Wondering if you would recommend Izzo Duetto over Brewtus III-R ? I know those are new machines, but what about just Izzo vs Expobar ? Thx

  • The Izzo Vivi is a very good machine, for the home or a commercial environment where not much coffee gets made (maybe a restaurant or somewhere). As for the flow time - it looked to me like it was under 30 seconds - which is about right. I don't think you know what you are talking about. Maybe the crema was a little thin and blond, but most likely the beans are just a little old. In any case this video is about the tamper, not the machine / grinder.

  • btw is that coffee maker in you home ... pls say it ur own in ur kitchen ... get a new machine dude , honestly there are better commercial coffee makers on the market , there expensive i know but its worth it

  • ur shot was very long , a typical flow time is 25 secs , u tamped very hard this maybe the cause , ur shot levels were way off ,and ur espresso looked quite horrid , soz dude but buy a grinder with a tamper on it , place two fingers on the top and apply a little pressure , there u go its tamped , if not its ur grinds that are the problem , get a grinder which allows u to change the grind , check your dose weight too , making coffee is alot more complicated that most baritas let on.

  • cool thanks for the tip i will try it and see hoew it gose i always wanted to use comercal ones there faster too lol
