Big Dogs - Insanity - Broken 8.8 Axle Shaft

Exit of Insanity. Left rear bound up and SNAP goes the stock 8.8 shaft. Guess I'll finally upgrade...it's been beat on for 5 years, it was a matter of time!

@dgradis YOU are wront. YJ's NEVER came with an 8.25...they came with a d35, and the owner swapped in an 8.8

those have to be at leaat 37"s or larger tires. i have read up that the 8.8 tire limit is 36s. arguably 37s but is pushing it unless having a super 88 kit.

It was a stock 8.8 shaft.... as in, not alloy or chromoly

you all are probally wrong unless he swapped an 8.8 in, those didnt come with a dana 35, they came with a chrysler 8.25

Probably an 8.8, those look like 35+ inch tires, and there bfg Krawler, those tires are sticky as hell

I think I see the issue, nif128 posted "SNAP goes the stock 8.8", hints the word "stock". I think he meant the stock Dana 35. I have an 8.8 and they are made by Ford and practically indestructible.
