The Elka EP-8 is a typical European home organ from the mid 80's. Though still basically analogue in it's design the tone generators were microprocessor controlled and the drum machine was all digital. It was also available as a portable organ called X-25 and you could also get it with accordeon buttons. In the USA it is probably known as Gulbransen DG-800 as they were imported by Gulbransen and rebatched.
Again I try to use as many of the voices and rhytms as possible while still making the music worth listening to.
The songs in the medley are:
Kunnen smurfen huilen (P. Kartner)
Guitar tango (?)
Du gamle måne (Kaj Normann Andersen)
Obladi Oblada (Paul McCartney/John Lennon)
If you weren't afraid (G. Moroder/C. Bennet)
Oh Mary don't you weap (Mel Tillis/Marijohn Wilkin)
One word about "Kunnen smurfen huilen" and "Oh Mary don't you weap": I have written the original title in the list but the way I play them is based on the Danish versions called "Siger smølfer smølfeord" and "Oh Marie jeg vil hjem til dig" so the syncopation might be slightly different from the original version.
Nice demo, Elka has nice sounds.
How expensive this Elka has been in mid 80's when it was brand new?

I am not sure - I got ít second hand - but I think it costed close to 20000 dkr in 1985 (approximately 3000$). That is a bit hard to relate to but I can say that the Roland JX-8P synthesizer with PG-800 programmer costed allmost the same.
