@MelRay35 If you read the rulebook it legally is a travel because he takes the first step after he dribbled the ball and it touched the floor, but NBA referees ignore that and start counting when the player picks the ball with his hand. Furthermore that's why in Europe we say that in the NBA you can "take 3 steps".
