@GottaLoveTheCritics When I was in primary school, Chicken scratching was when you scratch your skin for ages untill your left with no skin and a huge rash... then you would slap it and it stung like a bitch. Quite pointless.
mmm, this guy chicken scratches, also, I havn't seen a more monotonous way to describe the process of animating. Don't get me wrong I like animating, and I know its a long procedure, but this makes it look more tedious than it is.
geez, no one needs help drawing a simple circle 100 times over, if anyone looks for a tutorial on animation it would be more logical to give some real in-depth advice on drawing more complicated things. like people? bleh.
How you hold your pencil doesn't really matter. However, what is extremely important is that you draw from your shoulder and make smooth fluent strokes rather than "chicken scratching" your way around the drawing.
