Here is a simple cartoon from episode 573 about what tool to use when sawing two pieces of wood and how sawing is done. I wonder what tool is used to saw something.

Well, at least You Tube is here to give us both a chance to see this and many other wonderful things!

  • @Smartboy8877 Nor I.

  • @DiAnno13

I am not sure if I ever saw this one either.

  • This is just so WEIRD. Everything about it is weird. The designs are weird. The tone is weird. Even the guy's creepy laugh at the end is weird. Some of Jim Simon's other Sesame Street films are strange in a friendly way, but this one is very cold. And that's why old Sesame Street is so interesting----its tone could vary all over the place. I'm not surprised this didn't last long, as they seemed to try to keep things on the warmer side later on.

  • NOT SO FAST KID!!!!

    SUPER LOL

  • This would be an extremely rare segment by Jim Simon's Wantu Studios...which also did the credits & bumpers (and Woody the Spoon segments) for "Vegetable Soup", and the "Loaf of Bread...", "I'm 6", and "My New Sled" segments on "Sesame Street". He also did segments for "The Electric Company".

  • This looks like the same kind of animation used for those Vegetable Soup openings. Very cool!

  • Never saw this one.

  • Oh, do I remember these cartoons! They first appeared in Season 4 and they only lasted for about three years. The animation looks as if it came from the same company that produced the "loaf of bread, container of milk, stick of butter" cartoon. Nevertheless, I found these incredibly weird, and not particularly well done because I found that short guy's demeanour irritating!
