Cream - Pressed Rat And Warthog live at Royal Albert Hall, London.
May 2, 3, 5, 6. 1080p
4 of 22

In May of 2005 Cream returned to London's Royal Albert Hall-to the same stage where they had completed what was thought to be their final performance in 1968. It was one of the most eagerly anticipated, hard-to-get tickets in rock history. With the exception of a brief reunion set at their 1993 induction into the Rock and roll Hall of Fame, Cream had not played together in nearly four decades. This DVD documents Cream's momentous London shows. Performances from each of the four nights are featured and much more. Also included are alternate performances and interviews with Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton. Cream formed in 1966 and disbanded in 1968. The band were a prolific and thrilling live act and toured incessantly in their short but remarkable history.

  • THANKS for uploading. The original has always been one of my favorite Cream songs. Strange song, maybe, but cool.

  • @gdub999tube definitely a cool song. And what an awesome voice! Sounds great here, but I must say I miss that lonely trumpet...

  • Those who want to call these guys lazy should keep in mind they are not 25 yerars old anymore, Mr. Baker is probably 65 at this show. They are playing like seasoned veterans with the interpretation as they feel it today. What's wrong with that? Jack is still playing Amazing bass, and EC and Ginger are...well....they are they, aren't they? Was that too many 'theys?' Pax from FL, USA

  • sorry..."YEARS" old

  • how truely captivating..wow.

  • I always thought this was a great song, in a spooky and desolate way, This version sounds so much more "ripe" and certainly more "east London" then before. Thanks Eric for the intro - I never knew Ginger's full name was Peter Edward. By the way, I heard that shortly after this show he got some sort of muscular disease, disabling him to play drums any longer. Hope this ain't true!

  • that bass line or at the instrumental part toward the end is the melody to ' my bonnie boy" by vaughan williams. could some one tell me if this correct or not.

  • Awesome !

  • @theeshrimpking i never forget the first time i heard cream in 1960s..they were so different to other bands at the time

  • Long live GINGER.

  • A personal favorite. I love the fact that they included it on the reunion shows. Jack Bruce's bass playing on the coda is top notch

  • Apart from that..... I'm totally impressed with Gingers vocal timing!.It's SO spot on with an almost Sinatra feel. Sombody commented that their sound at this concert were "lazy". Thats so wrong. It's "laid back" which isn't that bad i many cases, nor in this ;-)
