Truly the world today is suffering from a terrible illness, a disease, a sickness. This disease and sickness is effecting all of us. It is the sickness of a philosophy, an ideology, that is permeating almost every single aspect of our existence. It is destroying us individually, it is destroying our families, it is destroying our societies, and it is destroying the world in which we live. And this is the religion and ideology of CONSUMERISM of MATERIALISM.

This is probably one of the most powerful lectures by sheikh Abdur Raheem Green. The QA session is also very beneficial.

Abdurraheem Green embraced Islam over 20 years ago and since that time has been active in the field of da'wah. Abdurraheem was educated in a Christian monastic school and although held strong Christian principles dabbled with other religions. This continual quest to find meaning to life eventually led him to Islam.

Abdurraheem spent many years at Speakers' Corner in Hyde park, where he made his name as an inspirational orator. He has been delivering talks nationwide including universities during this time, and also on international platforms, such as the Peace Conference in Mumbai. He is a regular on Peace TV with many of his lectures widely watched on YouTube.

When I see this man, I can see what Islam has led him to. It has made him militant. Whether you are a man or a woman, when you practice Islam , you become humble but it also makes you militant. Islam makes you a lion to the unbelievers. Like Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, like how the British government is afraid of Zakir Naik being in their nation. Islam will destroy all their lies. Islam, the enemy of the devil's illusions. Islam makes us militant. Please practice Islam and Allah will guide you.
