  • Dual Nozzles. One is manual and the other is automatic and can be operated from the turntable. Smooth bore nozzles in the bucket that can be attached for more reach or penetration.

  • Wonder whats in the rear box??

  • 750' of 100mm Hi-Vol hose, ground ladders, Pike Poles, Piercing Nozzle, Brooms, Shovels etc.

  • nice truck. but it doesnt have much rear warning

  • Should've gone with a Seagrave Aerialscope!! (Just kidding!!)

Seriously a company near where I used to live had a Seagrave Aerialscope all spec'd out but it was deemed too expensive (typical of Seagrave-you pay for the name, a la Cadillac) so they got a Sutphen Tower instead and saved over 100 G's. But they have had nothing but problems with it.

  • are those dual nozzles on the tower platform there?! i've never seen a tower ladder with any more than a single nozzle on the platform, and that would be a pretty neat idea to be able to hit multiple areas with one ariel unit

  • Cool light bars in the front radiator area--kinda hard to see but one cool truck.

  • That is one gorgeous firetruck! Thanks for sharing!

  • Gonna love that sound of that turbo!

  • LTI Midmount on a Lafrance chassis.. Nice!

  • I believe 80,000lbs is 40 tons.

  • It is an American LaFrance Eagle built in Pennsulvania. It is a nice truck but we have had our share of problems with it. It is not standing up to our Canadian winters very well with all the electronics and switches.
