@THESEXI3STMAN One thing that Opeth and PT have over Watchtower, which can't be denied no matter what you have to say, is atmosphere. That's the main progressive aspect of their music, not how many scales, time changes and other patterns they can throw in. Better vocalists, as well.

That said, the sheer fun patterns that Watchtower provides is amazing and in that respect superior to Opeth and PT.

Everyone has their strengths. To not see *ahem* hear them is just idiotic.

Hmm...you do know Watchtower members do have heavy progressive music roots right? Also the fact Watchtower are fans of Opeth. Lets not forget the fact that Watchtower are also a pro earth band, they were agaisnt the hurting of nature. Oh and im not an Opeth fan either.
