hahaha! when i was playing, the game i didn't realize zack got hit by genesis while Sephiroth looked all cool with quick defense. it cracked me up XD

I'm going to compile the story summary that xxcokotxxy did over at the GameFAQs forum and link to it.
The blue apple ... I believe its name IS mentioned cuz Tseng or someone talks about it near the beginning of the game when he and Zack go on an investigation at Angeal's hometown. I would guess the explanation of the fruit at that point would make SEEING the fruit everywhere else in the game more meaningful. ^^;
