This video was recorded aboard a southbound downtown MTA 6 IRT Lexington Avenue Subway. Notice the high amount of graffiti present. Rap / Hip-Hop, Break dancing, and graffiti all have their origins in the South Bronx.

@Phaetheius Then you haven't seen any of those cities and the Bronx in the '70's. Every one of those cities suffered dislocations and blight during that time. Polluted rivers, rising crime and abandoned buildings were the norm. What we went through during that time is what you'll be facing when the austerity policies are implemented in each of those cities.
