@EaterofCornbread Bacteria grow exponentially in environments with limited resources and no chance of escape, we are doing the same thing. The Earth is our petri dish and we will run it dry.
Break your rose coloured glasses.

@EliteDoomer It's fine to be an all anti-humanity and whatnot, but to compare humans to bacteria (in that sense) is very silly. We will continue to find ways to adapt because we have the means to, unlike said bacteria. Whether that is a good thing, though, is another matter.

@EaterofCornbread Doesn't matter, they've never faced en masse population explosion while depending on finite resources. But bacteria do everyday and it is easy to see the result.
-
@EliteDoomer People have had this doomsday mindset for every generation since the beginning of humanity. It is meaningless.

He wants to be hated, I like that.

@ellk420 There is no future for children to inherit. The end of oil matched with the corruption and suppression of renewable resource systems will bring an end to the life we take for granted today.
The biggest shame of all is Stanhopes non procreation. Its people like Stanhope that should be having kids and filling this world with mini Dougs. When the geniuses dont breed but the morons continue to, its only gonna get worse.

Man, even if you are smart and have kids, chances are they (smart peoples kids) will become more mindless robots, replacing the current generation of mental zombies.
The social pressures for kids to conform nowdays is simply incredible.
I couldn`t (in good conscience) bring another life into this hell-hole of an existence.........and it only getting worse man.
