Droid Razr software update Dec. 22, 2011

A software update was released for the Razr on Dec. 22, 2011. It includes fixes for sim card errors, camera improvements, better menus for browser, music, and video. Also features better connectivity and improved lapdock performance.

The update really didn't help my phone. My Droid is on 3rg alot more than on 4g. It drops the network connection alot as well. When I use youtube on it, it force close wayyyyyyy to much n gets annoying. It does that about 95% of the time while I'm browsing.

Great videos earthling, you mentioned that this update was going to fix the 4g and 3g problems but this morning my internet connection went out and it hasn't connected yet. It has done this before at least twice since I got the phone but never this long. My friend has the same phone but his is fine. Tried turning it off and on but still not connected, any other suggestions? What do you think about the new blade 450x? Looks pretty impressive.

@transamws6js the 450x looks great! As for the phone, try taking out your sim card. wait a second till ur phone realizes it has no sim card. then turn off ur phone. put back in the sim, and turn back on ur phone. see if that fixes it(that's what I had to do before the update fixed my phone)

I read some people who had rooted the phone. Losing root with this update, and not able to root back the phone. Specially not able to use in the hot spot app from manufacture

Do you keep any music on the phone ? Is it good sound quality when listening to music?

Thanks bro, the internet just returned on its own. I guess the 4g was down in my area...Do you breed fish too, I noticed u have a lot of pets. I breed zebra plecos L46, if you're ever interested.

@earthling1984 Just giving a suggestion :D love your videos.By the way for when i make videos talking into my gopro I use this big samson microphone I have attached to the gopro (after buying special cables) and the sound quality is way better. But in my opinion the Gopros are only good for stuff like documentaries.
