The JB4 MKIII is JohnBlue Audio's top of the line bookshelf fullrange speakers. Its enclosure is crafted using 24mm thick highpressured bonded MDF. Thanks to its proprietary internal honeycomb structure, NO fibre is needed internally for damping. This allows for an extremely transparent delivery. Innovative enclosure design allows the driver to radiate sound from the enclosure edge and give it a horn effect. @h4x0y Why do you prefer a sealed enclosure? Obviously, a sealed enclosure compresses the cone movement so I don't understand your logic.

Nice looking and the music that is being played is suitable for these speakers but if you listen to anything with bass then u will be disappointed. I don't mean hard rock bass just simple strong jazz bass will suffer too. If your listening room is small then the bass might get better.

@h4x0y It would have almost no bass without that port. It needs it. Also the vocal range would not be as sweet.

@anticrackers The driver maybe OEM from Kaohsiung Taiwan, but the cabinet is 100% Made in China.
