In this video I show where I believe some of Donkey Kong's moves in Super Smash Bros. Melee have been derived from. I show the original and then how it was translated into SSBM. For the SSBM part, I show a normal view and then a close-up. I put text in some parts of the video to point out the things that aren't blatantly obvious. Donkey Kong can also run and jump with the Barrel and Crate, something most characters can't do.
