i have done the same for years, since i started traveling for work for 2 years, but everyone said i was crazy. i gather all the hotel signs, bible, and anything else (leave the remote!), hide them in the bottom drawer, and unpack. makes me feel closer to home, and it doesn't take long.

i travel with 5 pairs of boots my ps3, my friend travels with a mini fridge and blender. we road warriors understand.
