The celebrities for the next week of shows were Susan Ruttan (from "L.A. Law") & Henry Polic II (yes, he was a celebrity player on this version a couple of times), and after that, they had Conchata Ferrell (who hadn't done the show since the 1970's) & Clifton Davis, and then finally, they had Adrienne Barbeau & Jason Alexander. Davidson made a mistake when he said that the 5th & last $100K tournament on this version would be 2 weeks later.

According to a couple of tape trading lists from ATGSers, Henry Polic II was the ANNOUNCER at one point for this version.

That may have been the longest ending to Pyramid I've heard. The bass part was right at the beginning of the fee plugs which has never happened.

@gameshowluvr86 Totally agree....he was not good...so much better on Hollywood Squares!

Yeah, it's because of Davidson's forgetfulness that I don't understand why many people bitch so much about Donnymid. The game play was good on this version, but hosting wise, Osmond wipes the floor with John. As for Dick hosting this, he couldn't, he was busy hosting The Challengers at the time.

This episode seemed a bit tough to get through. I mean it was still entertaining to watch but some peoples preformances could have been better. JoMarie and Tom are decent players but I wouldn't want them as my partners; nothing against them personally that's just my opinion. The players were okay and the winner's circle subjects seemed a bit awkward. I give this episode 4 stars despite what went wrong because I like the people. John needs a lesson in how to host though.

Conchata Ferrell does Two And A Half Men on CBS nowadays.
"Join us on Monday when our celebrities will be... somebody wonderful, I have no idea, we'll figure it out over the weekend..." John, John, John, if we could build a mountain out of the things you don't know... 1991 Pyramid could have been so much more, had they went with a better host (Dick Clark comes to mind), and had they not cheapened the set.

LOL! on the JD comment.
I have to disagree on the set though...I actually liked this set better. I thought the big Pyramid was better proportioned than the 80's version.
