I Live in Queensland ,and alot of those outback country roads are travelled by the big road-trains ..semi's can be dangereous for bike riders and pedistrians etc .....give them a wide birth.

i rode across nullahbor in 8 days. it was cloudy and rainy the whole time. i got lucky. had a blister on my butt about 30mm and had to pedal standing up for a week!!!!

@y2kenh Never any around Melbourne. But there may be some as you head north from Adelaide. But they're mostly around the north & central parts of Australia.
