What does "Souran-bushi" mean? Is it a type of song, like "zundoko-bushi"?

"bushi" is the old japanese word for a "song".

sooran bushi is a special song thats occampinied by a very unique dance found in the hokkaidou region.

sooran has no particular meaning, but i think its a word that fisherman would say when pulling in the fish. "sooran!!"
