@dritanura Symphonic metal is metal that Incorporated classical or symphonic elements into metal. such as any symphony or classical instrument, including bands Like Epica, Dimmu Borgir (well thats in the black metal department), and yes Apocalyptica, although they do vary. they can be a Metal band, a neo classical band, post grunge, alternative, Symphonic Metal or just symphonic period. Symphonic Music is using symphonic elements, not just keyboards

@blastedburrito110 no they are not symphonic band, symhonic bands are based on keyboard playing. Within temptation is one of the greatest symphonic bands. The reason that i said tha Apo"s are bridge is that if you listen to all of their songs, you"ll notice that their music varies from classical to pop_rock, to altrnative rock, to pure metal, to thrash and even death metal
