@prjerry7 yes, an old Whitaker had a lot harder time than Floyd, when he fought Oscar, but in both of those fights Oscar lost. Pernell should of got the split decision agaisnt Oscar, and Floyd should of got the unanimous .

@prjerry7 Oscar landed Hardly nothing Clean...Maybe 7-10 Clean shots. He gotta a whole bunch of Air,Elbow,Forearm,Partial Blocked, Rolled. Floyd landed BY FAR the Cleaner,more effective punches in both fights! He won UD against Castillo, that should tell u a little bit.The Split against Oscar was Bull shit and we all know it so just stop. Oscar got that Split for his popularity and name. BTW Floyd is only Gonna fight 3 More fights...Cotto,Pacquiao,Sergio...Retire As 1 of the Greatest!

@ThePushBravo Oscar in the 90's was obviously much faster then the OLD Oscar who lost to floyd by a SPLIT DECISION.
Landing more punches doesn't ONLY win rounds, landing the harder punches do as well & in their fight an over the hill Oscar landed crisp.
Castillo is another one who gave Floyd a beating.
Floyds the best of this era but don't blink. I remember when undefeated Jones, undefeated Tyson & undefeated Holmes [51-0] seemed invisible. Floyd should do like Rocky & retire on time.

@prjerry7 How is outlanding ODH 207-122 Hell? Oscar Landed 21 Percent of his shots and Floyd landed 43 Percent. Thats an Ass kickin and Most had it 8 rounds to 4.Oscar only got a split decision because It was GB Promotions. U dont Double landed punches and double percentage and lose,LOL! It really wouldnt have mattered when it was and how strong De La Hoya was. Floyd Would Have Outboxed him just like he did in 07' and if they fought 20 years from now,Floyd would do the same. 42-0 for a reason.
