NASA aerospace engineer Karl Bilimoria explains the functionality of the space agency's Vertical Motion Simulator--the world's largest--to CNET News reporter Daniel Terdiman. The simulator is used for training on everything from the new lunar lander to the Space Shuttle to helicopters, and even a bobsled.
