Leave the poor thing alone its just a delicate insect and it is a 2% change of it stinging you because if u bug it it 100% chance Sting you and its just doing its thing :)

@absol1176 A bumblebee will almost never sting you unless you're doing something to seriously piss it off (punching its hive, etc). Just leave them be.

bees at the end of their lives do this. It was probably very old or injured.
