After I listened to Dallas gloat on and on about how great her life is for about 20 minutes, I realized I have better things to do, so I stood up and walked to my room, and guess what, noone noticed.

After meeting Dallas' parents and her sister I seemed really unconfortable, I guess Dallas isn't the only one who tallks about herself 24/7, seems like her parentsdo, too.

Which appears to be weird, because, Dallas never even told me she had a sister, up until now, I thought she was the only child.

I noticed Dallas' dad looking around, "Where's Demi?" he asked.

I shrugged, "She left about 10 minutes ago, upstairs, I think."

Her mother sighed, "That girl and studying for her finals." she smiled at Dallas, "She can only dream getting grades like yours."

"What is she studying for?" I asked, quietly.

Her dad smiled, "Physics. You any good?"

I nodded, getting ready to speak, but Dallas inturrupted me, in her usual preppy voice, "Oh yes, he's in to sciences. Like physic, biology and ever astro--"

"Its nothing, Dallas" I said.

"Well," her mother said, "Maybe you could help her understand it."

"That sounds great" Dallas smiled, "It would be nice to have some competition for a change."

I shrugged and stood up, "Sure, wheres her room?"

"3rd on the left" her dad smiled.

I went to the stairs, god this family is gatchy.

I find listening to music while im studying actually helps. It makes me focus, and since all I could here downstairs is, "Dalls This.... Dallas that." I think I would much rather here some "Boys Like Girls" or "Lady GaGa"

I turned on my stereo, plugging in my ipod, then turning on Love Druck, but Boys Like Girls, btw, great song.

I hummed as I went through my physic terms.

But for some weird reason, the chourse takes over me, the humming went to sing, which went to me dancing around the room singing into a brush....

"I used to be love drunk... but now im hungover.... I loved you forever.... forever is over!" I sang spinning around.

I think I actually spun aroun a little too much, because I flattend out infront of a pair of feet... Joe's feet.

I looked up, "Um... I was just---"

"Being a teenager" he said, "Don't worry about it."

I stood up, trying to shake off the embarressment, "Yeah, so may I help you?"

He shrugged, "Actually, im here to help you. I heard your studying physics, and I was wondering if you's like some help?"

I smiled, finally someone that actually cared.

I nodded, "That'd be nice."

He smiled and sat on my bed, "So, what are you having trouble with?"

I sat next to him and told him what I was having trouble with, he helped me, we talked, we laughed, we got to know each other and when I looked at the clock, we realized we were doing that for 3 hours.

I laughed, "Time flys... literally."

He smiled, "Yeah, i guess so. It was nice talking to you, Demi."

I nodded, "You, too. Joe."

He smiled walking out, closing the door behind him.

So I was wrong, he is nothing like Dallas' usual type, he seems nice, and its always good to have a nice guy around.
