Jerry Rice and Nitus' Dog Football review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Jerry Rice and Nitus' Dog Football from Judobaby for the Nintendo Wii. Jerry Rice and Nitus' Dog Football doesn't make a good first impression, as it lags at the freaking menu. We did not have high expectations for Dog Football, for a plethora of reasons. And maybe that's why it exceeded them. I mean, we had that bar set really low. This is basically Madden meets Nintendogs meets Tecmo Bowl. There are 20 dog breeds to unlock and play with, as well as 14 humans, which are basically your team captains. They man the quarterback position and are actually the only player on the field you can control. All things considered, it's not terrible. You know how Nintendo didn't want to bring Xenoblade,The Last Story and Pandora's Tower due to fear of it not selling well...now where were the millions of people saying "Awwwww yeah,Jerry Rice and Nitus Dog Football that is definitely GOTY material right there"...oh that's right THERE WASN'T ANY.

@YoNamethss - Yup, everyone has their own opinion. IGN is a pretty good source (used to work with some of those guys back in my reviewer and strategy guide days)... But my opinion is based on experience. I still play JRNDF, in fact, we just played it at a party last week and had a blast. And I think you miss the point on COD... I just mean ultra violent / core male audience products (like Quake and Unreal).

That's Youtube's comment system for ya lol!, and I've played the game, and did not like it one bit(had to babysit sister's kids), so I'm entitled to my opinion on games, and I don't go by IGN for all my game reviews, and if you do that's sad, also I don't like COD, I would rather go back, and play some oldschool Quake, or Unreal games.

@clays121 Reply was supposed to go to @ Callmemarc - Anyway, It may not be YOUR type of game (or any other COD love'n hater of family products), but the game is actually really good. IGN, which takes a professional review of the game, gives it a 7.0 (same score as Madden). You just seem to want to hate... good luck!

Not true. Jerry loves his dog, he loves football, and his dog is part of the family. This is a game about dogs, footbal, and is for the family... get it? He didn't do this for money. He actually believes in a product that embodies what he loves in life.
