All I can remember is gavin's famous quote:

"whether you like it or not!" and how that affected the Prop 8 vote

I think these videos are a great idea. Wish Gavin had also filmed a 30 or 40 minute overview with just the highlights. I just don't have time watch all 7.5 hours!

So now I still have to depend on the press to distill and filter Gavin's ideas into something I can digest quickly.

And next time, find a way to edit screen shots of the presentation directly into the video. Can't be that hard!

What about the budget?

The same week the Mayor's Office is preparing to slice and dice the City budget by up to $100 million, they release this piece of work...

There are big questions that need to be answered in City Hall in the coming weeks and months. Unfortunately, it appears that the dialogue with only take place between Supervisors in the Board Chambers.
