DC seems to keep out of real time reality which is what has been a weak link for them. The DCU has too many elements that creat an alternate reality that we the reader cant completely identify with.
MARVEL has always been a place we could visit and possibly run into a certain webslinger and so on. But ageing some of these characters after a time IS important. Continuity and character progressions and referance is important to a good soap opera like monthly comics.

i think that the idea of that the thunderbolts...are bad guys trying to be good..is the cover that is needed for N. osborn...to get the position of head of hammer...because he is suppose to be changed...of the idea of the thunderbolts is the cover for this one...

I've started reading TB from issue 126 and I really like it, the art is great and the story is pretty good.

Apparently, Marvel is getting scared of their legal exposure and is trying to claim the President in Thunderbolts wasn't Obama. I tried to post a link to the story, but YouTube apparently doesn't allow this. The story is over at your favorite exclusive-swiping website.

Yeah, I had a hard time too (read about it elsewhere as I don't read Newsarama). The headline is "How is Obama Appearing in Comic Books" and I found it by putting the words Obama Thunderbolts in their search engine. The specific denial I mentioned comes in the second-to-last paragraph.

you are wrong about songbird.
in TB 127 she tried to kill bullseye and moonstone but failed and the swordmaster knock bullseye out and exploded the TB ship and told songbird to hide from norman and that he going to say that she was killed in the explode.
Then in Secret Invasion: Dark Reign swordmaster tried to kill norman but he over take him and stab him with his sword and throw him off the mountain.

You're right Saar. I completely got the characters mixed up. I read so much stuff that it's sometimes hard to keep things straight. Thanks for the correction.
