  • i want to buy a case like this (for a hackintosh) can i just use a regular atx mother board (intel / amd )

  • @cnks1 - If you are expecting another board to just line up and sit in properly, then no. If you plan on modifying the case to allow your board to fit, you should be able to if you know what you're doing.

  • @PowerbookMedic Even if you did mod it a motherboard is tiny compared to this and non of the O/I's would line up??? It that right???

  • @remy3315 - Correct. It would have to be an extensive mod and would not be easy.

  • Can I fit my 2007 mac pro logic board in a 2009 mac pro case?

  • @philnlee - No.

  • @Davidd1107 just take out the ram sticks and spray them with compressed air and re-insert them on the mobo and if that does not work you can take out the mobo and use the compressed air and spray the whole mobo and clear any dust do not tilt the can of compressed air or a very cold liquid will come out and it will KILL your mobo and do not get it on your skin!!!!!!! but if you follow that it should work

  • @cnks1 how do you test the logic board for early mac pro 2008 if it doesn't work? Because my mac didn't start when the LEDs was keep bilking?

  • Nice vid!, Got a question... Can a 2010 Mac Pro dual CPU logic board be fitted into a 2009 Single CPU Mac pro?

    Thanks

  • @PowerbookMedic enjoyed your response of "if you just expect another board to just pop right in, then no."

  • @PowerbookMedic thanks i will do that :-)
